Technology Moves Forward, and Prices Step Backwards

Wireless technology isn't just a fad, it's going to continue to grow and flourish. Wires will be all but a thing of the past as soon as we can get over this thing people call "power".

On its first release, the Pioneer XDJ-AERO was promoted as somewhat of a toy for the hipsters. Deep in the heart of Pioneer DJ, however, the professionals saw something more. Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to control your music straight from your smartphone or other Bluetooth device was about to revolutionize the industry. And while the XDJ-AERO didn't take off as much as Pioneer had hoped, the product is today, still a thing of beauty. The latest news on the Aero is quite the appealing one.

Planet DJ has recently announced that they'll be dropping the price on the XDJ-AERO from the expensive $1199 to a more modest $799, bringing it right in line with competitive controllers, while still holding the name Pioneer DJ. Not only is this controller sleek and sexy, it uses top of the line technology to give the mobile DJ mobile control.

If there was any time to grab one of these epic wireless DJ Controllers, now would be the time.
